In
the last 20
years, over $1,000,000 has been contributed to community charities
by Party Parade. Party Parade has also created awareness of
the goals, programs, and needs of the charities it has supported.
We are grateful to the community and to the hosts
and guests who have generously supported Party Parade.
Please accept our heartfelt thanks for making Party Parade a success
over the
past 20 years. We
will continue to support local charities. We hope that those of
you who have supported Party Parade in the past will continue
to do so.
The Party Parade
Fund in 2012
The Party Parade Fund was created in
1998, the tenth anniversary of Party Parade. Since that time, it has
awarded small grants to many local charities for needy projects that
might have otherwise fallen through the gaps. The Fund's
recipients in 2012 were:
Building Goodness Foundation
to underwrite the design and construction of an educational garden shed
for the City Schoolyard Garden program at Buford Middle School
The Mediation Center of Charlottesville
to subsidize the cost for the family mediation and co-parenting programs
